When Duplicating a Contract The Name Of The Duplicated Contract Is Displayed Differently In The English And Spanish Application Versions (Doc ID 3027406.1)

Last updated on JUNE 11, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Enterprise Contracts Management Cloud Service - Version 11.13.23.10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.13.23.10.0 version, Terms Library

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When contract 1  with contract name "A" is duplicated, the contract 2 is created and is given the contract name "B". This shows correctly in the application in the Spanish Version, but when logging in the English version the Contract Name for the duplicated contract shows "A" instead of "B".

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Duplicated contracts must have the same name in the application in its different language versions (English and Spanish).

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to an existing contract > click Actions button > Duplicate.
2. Update the contract name to the correct one and modify the necessary fields.
3. Save it and submit that new contract for approval.
4. The contract name appears correct.
5. The mail approval notification arrives with the name of the contract that was duplicated even though it was changed.
