Purpose

Patching Guidelines For Lower Database Versions (Upgrade Support Required) 

· Notify customers that starting in CY2024, Oracle will not externalize quarterly DB/GI cloud images for the lower DB/GI versions (18c, 12.2, 12.1, and 11.2.0.4)
· Provide recipe for customers to create and maintain cloud images using patches available in MOS

Scope

 This information will be of interest to those assigned to maintain Oracle Database lower database versions (18c, 12.2 , 12.1 and 11.2)
