How to Purge APEX Debug Messages (Doc ID 3030292.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

While the APEX debug option is enabled, APEX will internally record all processes in the debug logs.
When you finish debugging, the debug option must be disabled again so it stops recording these logs.

Sometimes, the debug option is left enabled and the debug logs start to grow too much. 
This document will explain how to purge those debug messages.
