Goal
Question: Describe how the current product functionality is insufficient.
Answer: When messages are failed in bulk due to the common error in the MPS_STAGED_MESSAGE table it's a tedious task from UI to update every message in multiple stores.
Question: Provide a detailed description of the Enhancement Request.
Answer: Our customer requires us to update MPS_STAGED_MESSAGE through an API call. Below is the business scenario -
"When messages fail in bulk due to the common error in the MPS_STAGED_MESSAGE table and to process these failed messages from MPS STAGED MESSAGE in bulk, <CUSTOMER> needs a utility to update and retry from outside of SIOCS may through API call".
For example, for the inventory adjustment records, once the records are sent to SIOCS successfully through a webservice, the source system tables get updated accordingly. And triggering reverse/reattempt at these source systems when they get failed in MPS_STAGED_MESSAGE could be a tedious job. So, we are looking for an option to update and retry on MPS_STAGED_MESSAGE from outside of SIOCS.
Question: Describe how this Enhancement will benefit your business.
Answer: When messages are failed in bulk due to the common error in the MPS_STAGED_MESSAGE table all can be corrected in one go with an API call.
