Error [JDSError : 115] Syntax Error At Or Near "fn" While Fetching Data From Redshift (Doc ID 3031344.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Analytics Cloud(OAC), the query against Amazon Redshift database fails with the error below. OAC connects to the database using Oracle Data Gateway(RDG). The native driver of Amazon Redshift database is configured in RDG.  

Error occurs while calling remote service DatasourceService. Details: [JDSError : 115] Database Error - Cause: [Oracle DataDirect][Redshift JDBC Driver][Redshift]syntax error at or near "fn". Action: Please refer to logs for more Details (HY000)
