Fusion SCM INV: Getting Receiving Transaction Error While Receiving a Purchase Order (Doc ID 3032468.1)

Symptoms

User is getting error while receiving a Purchase Order. Users are facing an issue where they are getting error: The receiving transactions couldn't be processed for 1 receiving transaction lines.

Scenario- A Sales Order #1111 was created and manually reserved. Reservation was created against Purchase Order number TEST-PO which is of same quantity as Sales Order (similar to back to back scenario). Purchase Order is yet to be received.
However while receiving it gives this error. The same lot exists under Manage Lots but has no On-Hand or transaction history. Users tried to receive the Purchase Order with different lot number yet issue persists.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Scenario: A Sales Order #4661 was created and manually reserved.
2. Reservation was created against Purchase Order# TEST-PO which is of same qty as Sales Order (similar to back to back scenario). Purchase Order is yet to be received.
3. However while receiving it gives this error: The receiving transactions couldn't be processed for 1 receiving transaction lines. The same lot exists under Manage Lots but has no On-Hand or transactions history.
4. Users tried to receive the Purchase Order with different lot number yet issue persists.
