Goal

While creating recurring revenue lines , there is an issue in the application.

When trying to create a revenue line with some Quantity, created a schedule for some months, it gets saved without any issue with all the details properly without any manual intervention.

Like for example, user provided 12000 as quantity and created a schedule for 12 months, the quantity gets scheduled equally as 1000 for those 12 schedules.

But when the user deletes the schedule and try to recreate the schedule and enters  the same quantity 12000 for equal 12 months,

system asks to enter the Recurring Quantity field value (which is not the case while creating first time)

and by default it is taking 12000 the whole quantity as recurring quantity;

If the user misses this and click on create schedule with those details, it sums up all the quantity and changes the quantity to 144000, which is not the expected behavior.

If the user is not providing any quantity in the recurring quantity column, the quantity is not getting split and otherwise the user has to do it manually outside the application and enter the recurring quantity to sum to the total quantity.

It is a pain point for the users, to divide the quantity and enter manually into recurring quantity field, if that is the case, why user has to enter quantity for the first place.

Same behavior is observed in SUI and Redwood UI.
