AIF Data Jobs Failed with Error "failed because child task \"Refresh Variables" and "Session Failed :<NUMBER> : ODI-1217: Session REFRESH_ODI_VARIABLES (<NUMBER>) fails with return code 20001." (Doc ID 3035660.1)

Goal

The following errors are seen in the POM failure logs.  When this failure is seen, is it safe to re-run the job?

Job[W_MCAL_YEAR_D_JOB],Process[LOADING_CALENDAR_PROCESS] failed the the following error:
"errorMessage" : "ODI-1298: Serial task \"SERIAL-MAP_MAIN- (10)\" failed because child task \"SERIAL-EU-BIAPPS_11g_RA_UNIT (20)\" is in error.
ODI-1298: Serial task \"SERIAL-EU-BIAPPS_11g_RA_UNIT (20)\" failed because child task \"Refresh Variables-IKM RA Oracle Generic Merge with Control- (30)\" is in error.

"errorMessage" : "Session Failed :69572 : ODI-1217: Session REFRESH_ODI_VARIABLES (69572) fails with return code 20001.



Job[W_RTL_MCAL_PERIOD_UNSHIFT_D_JOB],Process[LOAD_DIMENSION_W_RTL_MCAL_SHIFT_PROCESS] failed with the following error:
"errorMessage" : "ODI-1298: Serial task \"SERIAL-MAP_MAIN- (10)\" failed because child task \"SERIAL-EU-BIAPPS_11g_RA_UNIT (20)\" is in error.
ODI-1298: Serial task \"SERIAL-EU-BIAPPS_11g_RA_UNIT (20)\" failed because child task \"Refresh Variables-IKM RA Oracle Generic Insert with Control- (30)\" is in error.

"errorMessage" : "Session Failed :69590 : ODI-1217: Session REFRESH_ODI_VARIABLES (69590) fails with return code 20001.
