SIOCS Does Not Process POS Return For Non Ranged Item (Doc ID 3035705.1)

Symptoms

On : 24.0 version, Inventory Management

SIOCS is processing a POS transaction return for an item that is not ranged if the return is using a inventory reason code that moves inventory to a non sellable bucket. It fails to process the MPS message.



ERROR
-----------------------

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Receive message POSProcessTransaction message as below

<PosProcessTransactionDeo>
<requestId>10370</requestId>
<storeId>6003</storeId>
<requestType>1</requestType>
</PosProcessTransactionDeo>

2. Message is not processed with the error message above
