Symptoms

An Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.4 mapping that uses the out-of-box "IKM Oracle Partition Exchange Load" Knowledge Module (KM), fails to execute with the following error:


 

The issue occurs if the table / column length are larger than 30 characters.

To reproduce:

  1. Create a mapping that uses the IKM Oracle Partition Exchange Load.
  2. Set Oracle Technology from default value (30) to Maximum Table Length and Column Length both to "128".
  3. Run the mapping.
