DBMS_REDEFINITION.FINISH_REDEF_TABLE hangs on this event "WAIT FOR TABLE LOCK" (Doc ID 3037124.1)

Symptoms

Online reorg process is blocking other processes,  sync_interim_table completed in few minutes only.

EXEC DBMS_REDEFINITION.sync_interim_table command completed.

Later ran finish redefinition, but looks like it is in hang state. We see Wait event is "WAIT FOR TABLE LOCK" in ASH report and Hang analyze. v$session_longops not showing any records.

Changes

 There are no new changes in the database.
