Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
In P6 Professional using the Cloud Connect database driver, users encounter one or more of the following issues:
- Very slow performance when loading the Projects view (with no open projects) after initial login, or when opening projects.
- Calendar data assigned to project activities is not loaded, causing the application to assume a Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00, no exception calendar.
- The application sets 'null' calendar data for all global calendars, project-level calendars set as a project default calendar, and project level calendars in open projects.
The issue is mainly experienced when connecting to a database that has a large number of distinct calendars assigned as project default calendars (to both projects and baselines) in P6 Professional versions 23.12.5.0 and 23.12.6.0, and major release 24.6.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
In P6 Professional using Cloud Connect to connect to a database with a large number of distinct calendars assigned as project default calendars:
- After initial login, loading the Projects view and opening projects should complete quickly.
- The proper calendar data should load for the open project's activity data.
- The application should not set calendar data to null.
