Symptoms

Problem Statement:

SAIMPTLOGFIN creates deadlock when loading sales from multiple stores

e.g.

DATETIME: 04/08/24 10:24:40
JOB_SEQ_NO: 24813573
JOB_NAME: saimptlogfin
MESSAGE: saimptlogfin_2~20240408102439~DeleteTermRecs~sa_customer~-60~ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource~Deleting TERM transaction
LOG_TYPE: E
LOG_USER: RMSBATCHUSER1
JOB_EXECUTABLE: saimptlogfin

 

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Load an RTLOG file with a reasonable amount of sales for multiple stores
  2. Run the batches to audit the sales and import to Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service (RMFCS) (e.g. SA_TRANSACTION_SALESPROCESS_CYCLE)
