Fusion SCM INV: Pick Slip Source Subinventory Is Different Than The Transfer Order Source Subinventory That It Originated From (Doc ID 3040206.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 15, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Inventory Management Cloud Service - Version 11.13.24.04.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There are 2 subinventories within an Inventory Organization InvOrgTest.

When doing a Transfer Order for the Inventory Organization InvOrgTest, the Transfer Order itself shows the Source Subinventory as STORE, this is correct.

Then, when the user goes to perform the Pick Confirm, the Pick for the same Order number shows the Source Subinventory as WAREHOUSE.

Thus, the Pick's subinventory is not the same as the Order's subinventory, even though the Pick is for the same Order number.

The behaviour occurs as follows:

1. Create a new Inventory Organization InvOrgTest with two subinventories:

Subinventory:             STORE

Subinventory:             WAREHOUSE

2. Create a Transfer Order for the Inventory Organization InvOrgTest. Check the Transfer Order itself, it shows the Source Subinventory as STORE, this is correct.

3. Then, go to Confirm Picks task view and perform the Pick Confirm for the same Order, the Pick shows the Source Subinventory as WAREHOUSE; which is not correct.
