Symptoms


The Direct Debit daily billing process did not complete successfully, resulting in the failure to generate the necessary Direct Debit banking files.

In summary, if the ‘FINPROC’ step runs between 23:59.01 and about 23:59.40 the transactions created in that period will be missed from further processing and ‘released’ (removed from the set) to be processed in the next daily billing run. If the ‘FINPROC’ step had taken a few seconds longer to complete, the cut-off date would have moved to 2024-08-13 23:59 and no transactions would have been missed.
