Symptoms

Using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.4, there are user accounts that have only read privileges via the following two profiles:


When using ODI Studio, as expected users can view the sessions, and cannot restart jobs by right-clicking on a failed execution. This is the desired and expected behavior.

However, when using the ODI Web Console, the same users are also able to restart jobs which should not be allowed.

Also, users with the OPERATOR profile cannot restart failed sessions while using the OdiConsole
