Restrict OOTB Account And Contact Free Text typing In Redwood Lead UI Is Not Working As Expected (Doc ID 3045285.1)

Restrict Account and Contact Free form in Redwood UI


In the classic UI, the fields displayed in the Lead creation and edit page for Account and Contact are Existing Account and Existing Contact respectively. This ensures that the Account and Contact DCL field does not allow any free form text for Account and Contact while creating or editing lead.

But in Redwood UI, the Account and Contact on Lead create and edit pages, saves any free text typed into the field as an account or contact respectively. We would like to restrict this behavior in Redwood UI.

Existing Account and Existing Contact fields are not available in Redwood UI. Please let us know, how to restrict free form account and contact from Redwood UI lead creation and edit page.
