Symptoms

Serial Number NNNNNNNNN4 shows with a usage of 'Resides in Stores'. However, when attempting to transact this Serial Number, an error is displayed indicating that it is an invalid serial number.

The Serial Number can be selected from the Select Serial Numbers screen on the UI, but also errors out when attempting to Apply it afterwards.

The behavior occurs as follows:

1. Create a series of serial numbers, the environment has one in particular for NNNNNNNNN4

2. Use the Fusion Client UI to create a Miscellaneous Transaction, select all serial number including the NNNNNNNNN4 above. Click the {Apply} and then click OK.

This error occurs afterwards:

3. Try to import the Miscellaneous Issue transaction via FBDI, the transaction fails during processing with a similar error message as well.
