Symptoms

After OIC(Oracle Integration Cloud) Gen3 upgrade "blocked by CORS policy: Request header field pcs_mode is not allowed" comes up.

The error trigger is an attempt to invoke the Rest endpoint prepared in OIC.

You should see the following error at Browser Developer tool > Console :

Access to fetch at '<REST_API>' from origin '<VBCS_DOMAIN>' has been blocked by CORS policy: Request header field pcs_mode is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Headers in preflight response.
