Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

In Logging Analytics, to receive Alarm we set up Detection Rule either using a Label or Saved Search. Once the Detection Rule is run, and if we satisfy the condition metric value is populated and the metric and its value(s) are push to monitoring which trigger the Alarm.

We will be discussing the scenarios when Alarm is not triggered even if the condition is satisfied.
