Purpose

This document provides a reference to an Oracle blog to help customers more easily find relevant content for Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).

Scope

This feature is dependent upon the Oracle Analytics Cloud platform.

In the fast paced world, having quick and seamless access to your data visualizations is critical. With Oracle Analytics Mobile native app for iOS and Android, we’re excited to share a feature that redefines how you interact with your data — deep linking. This enhancement empowers users to navigate directly to their most relevant content with ease, making your Oracle Analytics experience more fluid and intuitive than ever before.

How It Works: A Streamlined Path to Your Data

The deep linking process starts with a simple change in the URL structure. Oracle Data Visualization web version URLs that traditionally include the path /ui/dv/ui can now be modified to /public/majel/share. This change directs you to a dynamic landing page that intelligently detects your device type.

Two Key Flows:

  1. Direct Access to a Workbook: When a deep link is shared, it can be configured to open a specific workbook directly within the mobile app. This is ideal for users who need quick access to particular set of workbooks without navigating through the app.

  2. App Launch: If the link doesn’t specify a particular workbook, it will simply launch the Oracle Analytics Mobile app, providing a quick entry point to your personalized analytics environment.
