Symptoms
After restoring the VM Instance from a Boot Volume backup as per OCI Block Storage - How to Create Instance from Restored Boot Volume (Doc ID 2939047.1) the Windows Instance might not be accessible via RDP using the domain credentials due to following error message:
This is usually happening due to the fact that the VM is not able to contact the domain controller to perform a Network Level Authentication.
