Symptoms

When attempting to auto-create a destination Business Process (BP) from the source BP, the following alert occurs.

ALERT

"Auto-creation of <destination Business Process Name> at this step was unsuccessful. Workflow template must be set in Business Process Setup. Contact your Administrator for further details."



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Unifier.
  2. Navigate to Project_ABC (or Company Logs) > Source_BP_Node > Source_BP > +Create.
  3. Enter the desired details and progress the record forward until the destination BP record is expected to auto-create. Observe the Alert as mentioned above.
