FND_VS_VALUES_B_ Table Is Empty After Value Set Auditing Is Enabled (Doc ID 3054670.1)

Symptoms


After enabling Value Set Auditing via Manage Audit Policies, FND_VS_VALUES_B_ table is still empty after changes are performed.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Manage Audit Policies
2. Product: Oracle Middleware Extensions for Applications
3. Selecting Value Set Service AM checkbox, and its components.
4. Select attributes for the Value Set Value object, key for us are: translated value, description, enabled, start date, end date (Among others).
5. Click on Actions>Synchronize.
6. Perform a change on a Value Set value inside a value set,  disable it, change it's end date and/or create another value inside this same value set.
7. Go to BI Publisher, and create a data model to check for the information in the FND_VS_VALUES_B_ table, and it's empty.
