Symptoms
If a rich text attribute contains a <br> or a <br/> tag, any document designer templates using this attribute will convert them to two line breaks, i.e. there is an additional unwanted empty line.
The most common path to get <br> tags is through legacy text library templates which were created by typing some text and using the <enter> / <return> key to get to a new line.
But populating the rich text attributes with (valid) HTML can also cause the issue.
