Error 'Catalog object privilege validation failed...' When Editing Primavera Analytics Cloud versions 24.10 and Later Analysis That Contain HTML Fields (Doc ID 3057814.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading to Primavera Analytics version 24.10, when editing and saving analyses and dashboards that contain HTML an error is thrown: "Catalog object privilege validation failed for user to 'path /shared/...'. You do not currently have sufficient privileges to save a report or dashboard page that contains HTML markup. This HTML might be present in column headings, table headings, text views, ticker views, narrative views, the print header, or the print footer and must be removed before saving."

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Primavera Analytics version 24.10 or later running on Oracle Analytics Server.
  2. Edit and save an Analysis that contains HTML.
  3. Error '"Catalog object privilege validation failed for user...' is thrown and changes cannot be saved.

 

Changes

 Primavera Analytics environment formerly running on OBIEE is upgraded to version 24.10 which runs on Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
