Invoice Detail Comments Is Not Persistent In DB (Doc ID 3058325.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 11, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Invoice Matching Cloud Service - Version 24.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Invoice Detail comments is not being persistent in DB

When importing invoices using the webservice the comments in detail are not being persisted in the DB.

Comments in the invoices imported using webservice have different behaviors than invoices populated manually using window, because when imported using webservices those comments (only header comments) are being persisted in im_doc_head_comments table. When populating invoices manually the comments are being persisted in im_doc_detail_comments table (even if you fill item field or not).

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1 - Create a new Data Loading Template for Merchandise Invoice from an existing, checking (include checkbox) the comments in detail
2 - Import a invoice with comment in detail using a webservice
3 - Check in the system (also in DB) the comment that you inserted in detail
