GTS_PROCESS_ID_SEQ

Why is the current value of the sequence less than zero in GTS_PROCESS_ID_SEQ?

This is causing the following error in the application:

"Error ORA-64603: NEXTVAL cannot be instantiated for GTS_PROCESS_ID_SEQ.
Widen the sequence by 6 digits or alter sequence with SCALE EXTEND.
returned by program unit GTS_TAX_SQL.GET_ITEM_TAX."
