Error 'It looks like we don't support this file format...The system could not process...' Received When Attempting to Upload or Download Files in Unifier (Doc ID 3060110.1)

Symptoms

When uploading or downloading Business Process (BP) record attachments, or files to/from Document Manager, the following error occurs:

Error: It looks like we don't support this file format
The system could not process your request. Log in Again. Please contact your administrator if you are still having problems.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Unifier.
  2. Navigate to the Project/Shell or Company Workspace where the document can be found.
  3. Open the Business Process (BP) Record > Click Attachments tab > Click gear next to file and download attachment.
  4. The problem can also be seen when uploading a new attachment to the BP record.
  5. The error noted above is displayed either during upload or download of the BP record attachment.
  6. The error is also seen when navigating to a Document Manager folder and attempting to upload a new file or download an existing file.
