Symptoms
It was discovered that the versions of some of the agents used with Access Governance (AG) were very old and needed to be updated to the latest version to ensure ongoing functionality. But, when attempting to upgrade the agent software, the following error was observed and the upgrade did not succeed:

The auto-update cron jobs have also been failing, leading to the version of the agent deployed being out-dated causing issues with the Orchestrated System synchronization and provision operations.
