Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

DESCRIBE HOW THE CURRENT PRODUCT FUNCTIONALITY IS INSUFFICIENT
==============================================================
You need a way to restrict the carrier and carrier services the user is able to select, you still need them to be setup in SIOCS as we are using the manifest service and also need to keep the carrier returned by manifest service, but the user should not be able to select it, this needs to only be return by the manifest system.

PROVIDE A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE ENHANCEMENT REQUEST
=========================================================
The carriers and carrier services that are available to be selected by the user should be defined on the role as data permission, this way we can managed which users have access to which carriers and control is the may be selected or not.

DESCRIBE HOW THIS ENHANCEMENT WILL BENEFIT YOUR BUSINESS
========================================================
This will allow for the return carrier from the manifest service to be saved but does not allow the user to incorrectly use that carrier.
We may have for example 3 carriers each one with 2 services:
Proship
- Expedited
- Normal
Fedex
- Expedited
- Normal
UPS
- Expedited
- Normal

Where "Proship" is the only one that should be used by the user, both Fedex and UPS can only be returned by the manifest service but should not be used by the user directly. So we need to restrict the use of both Fedex and UPS to the user but allow it to be return by the manifest service and be saved in the shipment information.
