DESCRIBE HOW THE CURRENT PRODUCT FUNCTIONALITY IS INSUFFICIENT

Referring to the Consignment and Concession Overview Release 24.0 found attached on Doc ID 1585843.1
Under the Items - Limitations section on page 7 you will see that consignment functionality is not applicable to simple or complex packs and so the message you are receiving "It is not possible to create consignment item within a pack" is correct.
Item Limitations
-----------------------
An item cannot be put on concession at a location if it is on consignment at any of its locations or has a supplier with a purchase type of consignment or vice versa.
Consignment/concession functionality is also not applicable to the following item types:
• Transformable (orderable and sellable)
• Deposit (container, content, crate, and return)
• Simple packs
• Complex packs
Due to this the customer does not have an option to create Consignment packs for the consignment products. The functionality is limited only to the consignment regular products.
PROVIDE A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE ENHANCEMENT REQUEST

In Item Master screen enable an option to create a pack items for different consignment regular products sourced from the same supplier.
DESCRIBE HOW THIS ENHANCEMENT WILL BENEFIT YOUR BUSINESS

It will reduce the labor cost during the item creation process and it will simplify supplier chain process esp. procurement to supplier.
