On : 24.1 version, Merch - Integration

No attribute in the REST services to capture external identifiers for Inventory Adjustment

When integrating stock transactions from external systems, capturing the External Transaction Identifiers in MFCS is key for traceability and reconciliation of stock transactions. The MFCS Inventory Adjustment Upload REST Service does not provide the ability to capture the External Transaction Identifiers i.e., there is no attribute in the REST services to capture these external identifiers.

DESCRIBE HOW THE CURRENT PRODUCT FUNCTIONALITY IS INSUFFICIENT

When integrating stock transactions from external systems, capturing the External Transaction Identifiers in MFCS is key for traceability and reconciliation of stock transactions. If it is not there in payload/UI, we should not get the details for traceability and reconciliation of stock transactions.

 

PROVIDE A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE ENHANCEMENT REQUEST

The MFCS Inventory Adjustment Upload REST Service does not provide the
 ability to capture the External Transaction Identifiers i.e., there is no
 attribute in the REST services to capture these external identifiers.

 

DESCRIBE HOW THIS ENHANCEMENT WILL BENEFIT YOUR BUSINESS

If we have the enhancement, it would help us reconcile the transactions between systems.
