Goal

A new measure seems to have been added to the Replenishment Parameters workbook and the Lifecycle Allocation & Replenishment (Review and Approve) workbook. They currently have 6 weeks and 10 weeks set as the Replenishment parameters for Reorder Level and Receipt Up To Level measures in Business rules.

The questions are around how the system captures demand when the Source Available Order options are changed from "OH followed by OO" to "OO followed by OH".

If you have selected "OO followed by OH" option on Source Available Order
1. For an item, the DC has inventory and a Purchase Order incoming at the DC in 8 weeks, will the system apply 10 week (RUTL) demand today, to the Purchase Order even when it is not coming for next 8 weeks and cannot fulfill the current demand?
2. In the above case, will the system take inventory from DC to fulfill the 8 week of current demand and then switch to Purchase Order for the remaining 2 weeks of the total 10 week (RUTL)?
3. Do we need to set this a the Store location or both store and DC if I only want my stores to consider DC OH and DC OO?
