Error: "Current Step Is Not Enabled for Integration" When Performing Unifier REST Call to Update BP Record (Doc ID 3065689.1)

Symptoms

When performing a Unifier REST API call to update a Business Process (BP) record the following error is displayed in the Unifier REST Service Audit Log "Response Comments" field and second message below will be displayed in the Unifier log. The REST Service Audit log will likely display a Response Code 3,000 and the REST client may also display a Response Code 3,000 or an error.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Configure the REST client to run REST API job to "updateBPRecord" (V1).
  2. Navigate to the Unifier REST service Audit Log Company Workspace > Admin Mode > System Information > REST Service Audit Log.
  3. Find and highlight the specific REST call in the log > Click the 3 vertical dots far right of Unifier window > Scroll down to the "Response Comments" field > Note that the first error listed above is displayed.
  4. Typically the same Exception error can be found in the Unifier log as well when available.
