Symptoms

When attempting to start P6 Professional, using Primavera Virtual Desktop (PVD), the following error occurs:

Session failed: Failed to connect to host.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Start Primavera Virtual Desktop using the link in the cloud environment portal.
  2. Select the P6 Professional desktop.
  3. Observe the error.
