Unapproving A Price Change Is Not Removing The Clearance Reset (Doc ID 3065950.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 03, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Pricing Cloud Service - Version 19.3 to 19.3 [Release 19.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 19.3 version, Pricing - Clearances

There is a system option called ‘Reset Clearance with Price Change’. When this system option is on, if a Price Change is executed while a Clearance is active, a Clearance Reset is automatically triggered
However, you have observed that when the Price Change is unapproved, the Clearance Reset is not unapproved

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
  1. Create a clearance for the item
  2. Create a future price change for the item
  3. Notice that the clearance is also reset based on the price change
  4. Change the price change back to worksheet
  5. Notice that the RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL record for the price change still has the clearance fields populated and the clearance retail price is not in effect. This record should have the clearance retail.
