On : 24.1 version, OTHERS
Historical data migration - rollback plan ?
Doing a version migration project, moving from RMA 14 to RI Cloud. There will be 3 implementation phases, each phase addressing a different business unit (BU).
Therefore, you will have three load moments of different dimensions and facts.
The first phase will be in a clean environment. The remaining phases will be in an environment that will already be in productive use.
With this scenario exposed, you question the options you have in case you need to roll back historical data loads. The documentation says that History Data Cleanup only includes Inventory Position and Pricing facts.
a) What options are there in case of total cleaning of the environment?
b) What options are there in case of partial cleaning of the environment?
c) What options are there if there is a need for specific data fixing?
d) If you need to clean data from other data marts, how should you proceed?
