Requirement of reference DQ checks for certain custom business terms in the transaction entity with reference to an other dimension
We have a requirement to perform Reference DQ checks for all CoA segment values that we have mapped into Loan Contracts Transactions and Loan Contracts.
To provide some context, there are two COA segments Organization Unit Code and Product Code that are available as OOTB attributes in Loan Contracts but are not available in Loan Contracts transactions within the catalog. The requirement is to have these two attributes in Loan Contracts transactions as they are required in the SLA Line file that will be sent to AHCS. To support this, we have created two custom business terms XXX Organization Unit Code and XXX Product Code and made them as 'Shared Definition' to OOTB attributes Organization Unit Code and Product Code respectively.
We have then performed a 'Fact Extension' to add these two custom business terms to Loan Contracts Transactions and subsequently mapped them as Line file attributes in the SLA.
Now the issue is that we do not see any reference DQ checks (catalog -> governance) on these two custom business terms XXX Organization Unit Code and XXX Product Code within Loan Contracts Transactions entity (despite creating them as Shared Definition). As a result, we are unable to perform reference data quality check on these two CoA segments within Loan Contracts Transactions.
