ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When an activity relationship has negative lag and a FF Relationship to its predecessor, that activity's Finish date is moved from the current day at the last available worktime to the next day at the first available worktime.

When clicking in and out of the Finish date field in either the Activity Table or the Bottom View > Status tab, the Finish date is moved back to the original day at the last available worktime.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Finish date will be at the end of the day at the last available worktime.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log-on to P6 Pro.
  2. Open a project.
  3. Create a FF Relationship between two activities with negative lag:
    • Activity_1 Finish: 06/16/24 at 17:00
    • Lag = -8hr
    • Activity_2 Finish: 06/15/24 at 17:00
  4. Schedule the project.
  5. Notice that the Activity_2 Finish moves to 06/16/24 at 08:00.
  6. Click in and out of the Finish date field in either the Activity Table or the Bottom View > Status tab.
  7. Notice the Activity_2 Finish date moves back to 06/15/24 at 17:00.
