Purpose
The purpose of this bulletin is to inform customers and analysts about the support of PHP and PERL, commonly known as mod_php, mod_perl, and Perl DBD/DBI.
Scope
Developers receiving OCI errors using Python, mod_php, mod_perl, or Perl DBD/DBI.
Errors may be something like:
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib64/php/modules/oci8.so' - libclntsh.so.12.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
[mpm_prefork:notice] Apache/2.4.6 () PHP/7.1.6 configured -- resuming normal operations can't access to DB
