Goal

Feature – ‘OCI Client Session NLS Character Set Status Information’

V$SESSION_CONNECT_INFO and GV$SESSION_CONNECT_INFO are generic views and should be able to get the NLS information for any client application.  This example demonstrates what characterset a client application uses through OCI.  Further; the OCI application sets and uses UTF16.
