Symptoms

You receive an ORA-00942 error even though you have been granted the appropriate (select or DML) privileges by the owner of the table or view.

For example, User A owns a table called TEST and grants privileges on TEST to User B.
User B tries to select/insert/update/delete from TEST but receives ORA-942.
