ORA-1536 On DML Or Running Tools, Applications (Doc ID 1012569.6)

You receive the following error:
ORA-01536, 00000, "space quota exceeded for tablespace '%s'"
// *Cause: The user is attempting to perform an operation which
// requires the creation of a new extent in a tablespace.
// The user has already reached his quota of space in the tablespace.
// *Action: The owner of the tablespace or a privileged user must grant
// additional resource quota on the tablespace to the user.

Like many ORA errors, you can get this error in many different situations. You may get this doing a DML, trying to create an object, running CDE tools, or running an application.

Although you may get this error in different situations, the solution is still the same.
