Purpose

CONFLICT RESOLUTION EXAMPLE: SITE PRIORITY

The following is an example of using the SITE PRIORITY method in conflict
resolution. Priority Groups enable you to assign a priority level to each
possible value of a particular column. In the event of a conflict, the table
with a "priority" column of a lower value will be updated using the data from
the table with the higher priority. Site Priority is a particular
type of priority group.

Convergence with more than two masters is only possible if the value
of "priority column is always increasing.

Scope

The following procedure can be used for Oracle Release 7.3.X through
Oracle Release 10.2.x
