Symptoms

When attempting to CREATE TABLE <Table Name> ... AS SELECT ... the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kghalf()+946] [ACCESS_VIOLATION][ADDR:0x6700E04] [PC:0x781900E] [UNABLE_TO_WRITE] []

The 'Call Stack' will likely contain the functions KKSALX and various LXR* functions.

*If these functions are not present the article can still be considered but might not be applicable.
