Purpose

This note provides steps to troubleshoot runInstaller(OUI) issues. It applies to both fresh installation and upgrades when OUI fails before user is prompted to execute root script (root.sh or rootupgrade.sh).

If root script fails, refer to <note 969254.1> or <note 942166.1> for solutions.

If OUI configuration assistant(plug-in) fails, refer to <note 1360798.1> for solutions.
