Purpose

  If the server reboots, how can I automate to restart the Oracle server?

Scope

 

The steps to setup the Oracle server for automatic restart are platform specific. The following examples are for NT and Unix (Solaris) and may be useful and modifiable to automated Oracle server start up on other platforms.
