Purpose


Service created with Distributed Transaction Processing enabled

srvctl add service -d <DB_NAME> -s <SERVICE_NAME> -r "<INST_NAME_1>,<INST_NAME_2>" -x TRUE -P BASIC

Service starts on one of the node
[oracle@<HOSTNAME_1> ~]$ srvctl start service -d <DB_NAME> -s <SERVICE_NAME> -i <INST_NAME_1>

but fails to start on second node.

[oracle@<HOSTNAME_2> ~]$ srvctl start service -d <DB_NAME> -s <SERVICE_NAME> -i <INST_NAME_2>
PRCR-1064 : Failed to start resource ora.<DB_NAME>.<SERVICE_NAME>.svc on node <HOSTNAME_2>
CRS-2674: Start of 'ora.<DB_NAME>.<SERVICE_NAME>.svc' on '<HOSTNAME_2>' failed
