Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 22.214.171.124 and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
Putting the [primary] Oracle database server in Production resulted in the /proc directory grabbing space and not releasing it. This resulted in the file system filing up and had the potential of bring the database done if all storage was depleted.
This might occur if the database is onlined for the first time. However for this user the problem occurred after failing over to their Standby Configuration and after time moving their Primary database back to their original configuration.
